Buy new: $1,647.50 Low end of ESL technology for you! Don't let that low end fool you though. Electrostatic speakers create a soundstage and fidelity of sound for which you need to pay several times over for a conventional speaker system. One additional benefit of Martin Logans' is they are also architectural pieces to look at!
Having said that this is more or less the low end of Martin Logan's lineup.

I have heard them a few times and they are good, but, personally, I went for Martin Logans - tastes differ -you may like these.
Best test is to listen to them with your favorite music in a good setup, to see what they are capable of. Never buy speakers and high end audio, without test driving!

Buy new: $200.00 Most people leave out cables when they spend so much money on high end audio. Guess what? every part of the system counts and cables do count. This is one of the best cables out there at a reasonable cost.

Buy new: $1,399.99 / Used from: $987.92 This is comparable to Denon's AVR-2808Cl just with 2 more HDMI inputs. While Marantz is great, you get a room heater for free! and power hungry..
Denon's new 2809 model has 4 HDMI inputs and has more multi zone support. If you like Marantz's sound better than Denon's (a little brighter, but some may feel it is 'colored'), this is the one.
Marantz also adds THX support that Denon does not support.
