Customer Reviews

Great ideas & puts you in the holiday spirit!5
Let me preface this by saying, I have TONS of Christmas books. They are inspiration each year as I head into the holidays. Sometimes they give me encouragement to shake things up, sometimes they remind me how important tradition is. This book does both!

It is a beautiful book (it's from Hallmark after all), but it has great ideas for parties, wrappings, decorations. And even if you've seen it all before, somehow the editors have given them a slight twist that makes it fresh and exciting.

So, at the top of my box of Christmas books is this lovely title. I'll probably get it out BEFORE Thanksgiving next year (something I never do) and get inspired anew.

I looked at it last year on Amazon, but decided against buying it after having been stung a few times by "holiday books." When it went on sale this year, it went on my short list.

Now, having seen it, I'd probably buy it even at full price. The photos are gorgeous, the paper is beautiful (doesn't it make all the difference when a book feels like a good book should -- not rough and bumpy pages with blurry text?), the ideas are helpful and unique.

It's like one of those Hallmark commercials on TV -- sometimes I laughed and sometimes I cried when I read it. I think you will, too!
