Enjoy sex with the extra turn-on of the subtle senses, and read auras while watching TV. -- Bookpaper, July 16, 1997

NOTE: This article/review may be the first time a major American newspaper carried an aura reading of a pregnant woman and her baby, both.

Baby talk: Fluff gets some insight on singer Gwen Stefani and her baby

Gwen Stefani's fans feel as if they know her. Her lyrics have been deeply personal from the get-go, and now it seems as though all the dreams she's sang about are coming true. She's married to longtime love Gavin Rossdale and pregnant with her first baby due in June. Will it be a simple life?

We asked Rose Rosetree, the author of The Power of Face Reading and Aura Reading Through All Your Senses, what Stefani can expect.

As a bonus, Rosetree offered to read the baby's aura, too.... In terms of her being a mother, it's a wonderful thing that someone so passionate and talented can also be as stable psychologically as she is.

AURA READING FOR TWO

You've probably heard the saying, pregnant women glow, Rosetree says. Guess what that glow is? The spirit of the baby shares the mother's body.

Rosetree referred to the baby as she for convenience, as a prediction. Still, she said, The baby has a lot of feminine energy.

Stefani's root chakra reveals the kind of world that she expects. Gwen is very solid, very practical, Rosetree says. She has strong ambition. She's a serious contender in life, not just as a performer.

The baby, now, has a gift of the soul that she is full of fun, joyful, playful. That's not just because she's a baby; it's a gift she'll keep for her whole life.

On to the creativity chakra. Gwen is clear and focused in her creativity, Rosetree says. The baby, though, is not on the artist track.

She's a peacemaker rather than a front-and-center creator, Rosetree says.

There's more contrast at the intellect chakra. Gwen is practical. You might even use the word 'clever' or 'shrewd,' Rosetree says. She is focused and goes straight for what she wants.

The baby has a more introverted intellect. She is good at combining her own ideas with otherown ideas with other people's points of view, Rosetree says.

POWERFUL AURA

Next stop, the emotion chakra: Gwen has a very complicated, artistic temperament, Rosetree says. It's intense, but she's OK with it. She's learned to let it fuel her artistic life.

The next chakra is Stefani's powerful throat chakra: Here, her aura grows, Rosetree says. It fills the auditorium when she performs. She knocks people over energetically, and wakes up and empowers their auras.

Will Baby be able to sing?

She is a talker and a thinker more than a singer or performer. Rosetree says. And she has an unusually strong sense of humor.

Gwen leads with her power, and the baby leads with her love, Rosetree says. The mother-child bond is evident at the heart chakra.

It's really a delight to find two beings as compatible as Gwen and this baby.

Readers put their natural intuitive powers to work to discover who's telling the truth (the aura reveals), enjoy sex with the extra turn-on of the subtle senses, and read auras while watching TV. -- Bookpaper, July 16, 1997

This "clear, concise, enjoyable, readable, comprehensive, informative and humorous" book (Earthlight!) identifies 11 subtle senses (like clairsentience and emotional empathy) for reading auras. -- One Spirit Review, July 1997

This is not the first Hollywood romance for either Ellen DeGeneres or Portia de Rossi. DeGeneres famously dated actress Anne Heche, while de Rossi had a relationship with musician Francesca Gregorini (the daughter of Barbara Bach and stepdaughter of Ringo Starr).

Still, it causes a stir and an explosion of flashbulbs every time DeGeneres and de Rossi hit the red carpet holding hands.

We asked Rose Rosetree, the author of The Power of Face Reading and Aura Reading Through All Your Senses, to do a relationship reading of these two talented blonds. Her conclusion?

It's not a public relations relationship, says Rosetree. It's the real thing. In photographs, Rosetree sees the signs.

They have the body language of one of the most in-love couples you will ever have the privilege of meeting, she says. They practically melt into each other, as though they were one body.

Rosetree speculates that de Rossi is the protective one, and a tad defiant. DeGeneres has publicly come out about her sexuality before, but Rosetree notes that it still takes courage to be such a high-profile couple. It took strength. There's this pride in the relationship and this intense vulnerability. She is being so brave, letting her heart show.

A closer look at their facial structure gives more clues. De Rossi has an unusual angled chin bottom. That's about having a will of iron, where she will never do things just to please other people, says Rosetree.

It balances her sensitivity, of which she has an enormous amount. Woe to the poor person who tries to tell her to do something she doesn't want to do.

DeGeneres has a curved chin bottom. She makes her choices based on people's feelings: her own, and other peoples, says Rosetree.

One thing they have in common: a nose bonus, an extra chunk of nose between and below their nostrils. The significance? They have to be serving humanity to stay motivated, says Rosetree. It's more important to them than getting hate mail.

Another revealing feature: They both have completely straight bottom halves of the eyes. That's about loyalty to proven friends and shyness in public, says Rosetree. Their shyness makes the statement of togetherness all the more powerful.

PORTIA'S AURA

What a huge aura she has! Rosetree says. And with auras, the bigger the better. The more radiant it is, the more love pours through.

At the root chakra, de Rossi combines male and female characteristics to an unusual degree.

Everybody is a combination of male and female, regardless of sex gender or orientation, explains Rosetree. But she's both very, very earthy and very, very tender at the same time.

Rosetree took a look at de Rossi's sexuality chakra. It's a very big part of her aura, Rosetree says. She's very confident. Is she flaunting it? No. That's just who she is. It's really wonderful when somebody can come out in a photo, be with her female lover, be very unapologetic, be a very sexual person and not hide it. I'm sure angels all over the world clap when they see photos like this.

At the creativity chakra, Rosetree senses a real live wire.

She has an extraordinary sense of fun, says Rosetree. She is wacky, she is silly, she loves to do unexpected things, like in the old 'I Love Lucy' shows. That's what she's really like. I'm willing to bet she comes closer to Lucy than anyone you've ever met in real life.

Her throat chakra backs this up. Once she gets on a roll, she can be funnier than Ellen, says Rosetree.

The throat also indicates some holding back, says Rosetree. She rarely lets people know completely who she is when she's in public, she says --PAIGE WISER for the Chicago Sun-Times, May 28, 2006

The best book about aura reading on the market!5
There are quite a number of books about aura reading available now, and this one is the cream of the crop. I ought to know - I've read them all, and I've had formal training in clairvoyant aura reading to boot. What makes this book soar above the competition is the author's approach. Most other authors simply tell you how they read auras, how auras look to them, and how they interpret information. They seem to assume that everyone else's intuitive perceptions will match their own. But that's not the way intuition works, and Rose Rosetree understands that. Instead of presenting a one-size-fits-all method, she provides detailed descriptions of the many ways intuitive information can be received. She helps you explore your own unique ways of knowing, and helps you develop your own "inner dictionary" for interpreting the aura information you receive. At the same time, she provides plenty of solid, "de-mystified" information about the aura and chakra system. I think she has struck the perfect balance between structured guidance and encouragement to "find out for yourself." Reading the book, which is full of personal insights and Q&A sections, really feels like attending a workshop with the author. She has a way of making you feel like she's working with you personally through her writing. This book can transform your understanding of aura reading (and psychic development in general). I really can't recommend it highly enough.

Progress5
Most books about auras and aura reading seem to me so much rubbish. They might talk in a flowery way about the great advantages or high spiritual benefit of perceiving auras. However, I have not found any help toward experiencing any of the "heightened perceptions" that any of them talk about. If we cannot see for ourselves and know for ourselves, is there any real use in it? Is there any interest whatever? Not for me.

I wanted to see whatever there is to see. If there are colors, I'd like to see them and know what they mean. Well, I don't. It's that simple, and I am not going to lie to myself or to anyone else about it. This is a very fine book because it is practical. It shows me that I can extract information in a tactile way. That works for me (although I'd still like to see whatever is there) in the sense that I can actually experience it and know for myself. That's good. This is the only book I've ever found that gives access to people like me---the people in the cheap seats spiritually and psychically---to these phenomena. You will notice that Ms. Rosetree has done a lot of work in updating to the second edition. It's fine work. So many books are really written for the author (to make money and to show how smart the author is). Here you have a book written to help the reader live with more grace and insight. That's what I want. All congratulations to the author. Well done. (If it were not well done, I would have said that as bluntly.)

Excellent work from a pioneer in the field5
I've studied aura reading and healing with celestian perception with Rose (in person) and she is an excellent teacher. She explains sometimes nebulous material in a very down-to-earth voice and reinforces the idea that almost anyone can learn to read auras with a bit of practice and tuning in to their particular "gifts of the soul". You don't have to be local (in VA) to learn these techniques, though. In addition to being very skilled in the whole metaphysical area, Rose is a gifted writer who can easily translate her "voice" into words. You can almost hear her speaking to you.

I would recommend this book above and beyond almost all others on the same topic because it shows you in very concrete ways that you don't "have" to see colors to read someone's aura. There are many ways of tuning in and receiving information through someone's aura and this book shows you how to do just that.

One of the "must have's" on my bookshelf.
