Product Description

Bringing private practice into the digital age. Psychotherapy is being transformed by the Internet and wireless communications systems. While therapists often respond to this trend with anxiety, online therapy sessions are in increasing demand. The authors introduce therapists to the new digital clinic, instruct them in the new therapeutic and business practices they need to adopt, and show them how the skills fundamental to traditional face-to-face therapy are translated when interacting with clients via new media.

Customer Reviews

Excellent Book5
This book was well thought out and is easy to read. Author Derrig-Palumbo took the time to do great research and wrote it well. The foreword by Dr. Ellis is fantastic. Great way to learn how to expand my practice.

Honest and clearly written!!!5
This book is well written and honest. It deals with the pros and cons of this unchartered area of mental health. The literature available is minimal. There does not seem to be other published books on the topic that are current and updated. I have been researching and exploring other literature and this book contains it all. As a therapist, this book has guided me in my decision to dive into this means of providing psychotherapy to people in need of help. I highly recommend it!!!
