Editorial Reviews

Editorial Review
This bold and colorful puzzle contains 48 extra-thick cardboard pieces that snap easily into place to create a simple, yet very imaginative scene of a fairy tale castle. An easy-clean surface keeps it looking new and safe from sticky fingers. This large, imaginative floor puzzle has a finished layout that measures approximately 2 feet high by 3 feet long. --Deb Oroszlan

Great Puzzle, Solidly Made, But...4
I love the Melissa and Doug stuff -- well made, colorful toys are always welcome in my house.

This puzzle is perfect for wee ones who can manipulate floor puzzles and like castles and princesses and the like.

However -- be aware that this is actually a 24-piece puzzle, not a 48-piece puzzle. We have two of these, purchased hundreds of miles apart, and both have 24 pieces, instead of the 48 listed on both boxes.

For your "princess on the brain" girl5
My 4yr old isn't crazy about doing puzzels, but I've tried to encourage her becasue of the good thinking process & eye/hand coordination it requires. Anyway, found this large, pretty sturdy cardboard puzzel & she does it often. So, I think it was the subject matter - everything is Princess nowadays with her, so she was more inclinded to do a puzzle of this castle.

Only bad thing I can say is that OY, it's a bear to get back in the box if all the pieces aren't just so! Otherwise a great purchase.

great gift!5
my 3yo dd got this from Santa for Christmas, and she LOVES it! I hear "let's do puzzles, Mama!" at least 3x/day -- the floor puzzles were definitely a hit w/our kids!
