We Love the Chunky Puzzles!!
My 23 month old daughter LOVES the chunky puzzles by Melissa & Doug. They are so much easier to grip and manipulate into place than the other wooden puzzles with the little peg knobs. We have all of the chunky puzzles and my daughter never tires of them.
Tool puzzle
Our son is 2 and loves this puzzle. He's had it for about a month now, and enjoys putting the puzzle pieces into their correct slots, as well as using the tools. He tries to "fix" things around the house. It's very cute. He also has the Home Depot tool bench and tools set, so he's all about construction and destruction!
Not like the other ones...
My son has six or seven of the Melissa and Doug chunky puzzles and we love them. However, the tool puzzle that we received is NOT hand painted as described, and like all of the other ones that we have. Instead, the pieces have sticker pictures on them and several of them are already peeling off at the edges. (We got this today.) Durability aside this is a good product and I recommend it.
