Beware: this product may explode!
A week ago, I would have given this product a 4 or 5 star rating. Since then, it exploded, sending glass shrapnel all over my kitchen.

Until I sat down and googled "pyrex explosion" I didn't realize this is not an uncommon occurence. I used this dish for years. It's versatile, shows off food, and is simple to clean. However, you might consider investing in some safety glasses because it can explode like a bomb with no warning whatsoever.

Great dish!
I have not had any problems with this dish and have had it for over 2 yrs now. I am able to use the glass cover on a couple of my stainless steel frying pans which is great too. This casserole dish is the perfect size and I love having a nice lid.
