Product Description

He, Arthur, is a reflection of luck, an abomination. He can feel the love, the pain, the sorrow, and the joy of all the ages. If he doesn't save the Druid he is sent to find, all known history could change. Some things are worth dying for. But first a man must live. Arthur didn't count on becoming human. And now the fairies want him to break dragon law... He never expected his charge to push him to the edge of reason. But a man must live before becoming king. Fear not. The fairies have a plan. Trust not the fairies. Druids wed one soul for eternity to protect the integrity of the timeline. Druid Solas's soul mate was taken from her. Now, an 11th Century Irish bishop stalks her to serve as his mistress. She has nothing left yet everything to live for in creating the historical maps she was sent through time to make. She will break time-travel Code if she submits to another man by allowing even one paradoxical child to muddy history. Then Arthur arrives to save her. He is anything but a time guardian. And a fairy tells her to help him. To ignore a god's instruction could prove detrimental. Yet, every time guardian knows believing the Gods is wielding a double-edged sword. Since it is forbidden for Druids to wield weapons, her future relies on He of the Fiery Sword. King Arthur is born.

Truly Magical!5
He had no name, he was just known as The One. Scales, claws, and fiery breath made up the wondrous Gaelic Judge... Dragon. Dreaming of becoming human would soon become reality with the help of the fey named Wee Pix. Present time for him was the sixty-first century, and he was sent back in time to the eleventh century to save a Druidess that could change the path of history. Trading in his dragon form for that of a human, he travels through time with He of the Fiery Sword( a man trapped inside of the sword) attached to his side.

Solas was infuriated by her rescuer, he did not know how to treat a woman, let alone feed her on a regular basis. What was that glowing sword in his scabbard? But by the God-dess Spirit he was the most handsome man she had ever seen! Solas for the longest time thought him a cyborg because he had such strange mannerisms; however that did not stop her for falling in love with him. The Holy Light of Union would not lie, he was her soul mate. It was just going to take some time to get that through his thick skull.

Along the journey in search of the maps that were stolen from Solas, the two encounter many distractions. The fey were constantly popping up from time to time, interfering with Arthur's mission to return Solas to her destined time in the future. They also encountered Norsemen that in Solas' mind killed Arthur. She accepted the help of the fey Bran and was stuck on the island of the Land of Women; pregnant. Having no idea that her Arthur still lived, she was shocked when a dragon requested her presence. The first glimpse into those amber colored eyes revealed the man she had fallen in love with.

What can be done so that they can be together? Both were now immortal but the bairn would not be. Solas could never step foot on Earth again, so how can she be with the man she loves? She lost her soul mate once before, she vowed to never lose him again. And what of Arthur in his dragon form? The Gods did not seem to be in their favor....but Destiny would work everything out.

Wonderful Irish tale that twists everything you "thought" you knew on King Arthur. Moncrief's ability to turn a legend on its ear will fascinate readers who crave romance and fantasy. I look forward to more stories from this writer!

A Celtic tale that stretches across time5
Using the world of myth and fairy, Skhye Moncrief brings Celtic gods and humans to common ground in eleventh century Ireland. This first installment in her Time Guardians series gives us a playful mix of centuries and planets, duty and romance . . . all in all a delightful read. Enchanting to the very end.
