As the book continues, characters age and the books become a moving story about the women's right to vote movement and the impact of being dedicated to a cause.

Buy new: $10.20 / Used from: $0.82 Very good! Beautifully written. I started reading the book nonchalantly while I was waiting for something at my parents house, and I had to borrow it and finish it! It is sort of a sad book, but it is so moving. I would definitively recommend it.

I knew from the start that this book is the first of a series, but I still got sort of deceived that it ends without any closure (abrupt "to be continued" feel to it). Still, I will definitively read the rest of the series!
