A little dissapointed
The imagery and precision of these speakers is amazing for nearfield listening. Unfortunately, the complete lack of bass seem to accentuate the highs and makes the overall experience harsh. I simply could not continue listening for more than 15 minutes. It is almost as if they are too accurate. It does seem that older, softer music sounds better than newer stuff on these. But sometimes you just want to crank "Back in Black". I am going to listen to some Mozart for a while to determine if I will keep these. IMO, the Bose Companion 5 are far superior at half the price or less. I just put those on my wife's computer when I got these. I want them back!

B&O Beolab 4!!!
WOW! What a stereo image!!!! Unbelievable stereo image from such a compact speaker. Bass perception and highs are amazing! If you LOVE music, and I am talking real music (not rap or hip-hop) you will be floored. You know what, on second thought, they make rap and hip-hop sound good too! If you never heard true stereo, these speakers will take you to the promise land. You will be forever changed and grateful. They are simply not charging enough for these speakers. A thousand is a steal for the experience that awaits. No I do not work for B&O. If you have the means, buy these speakers. 1st rate quality product.
