Product Description

Years ago, people knew without a doubt that the Earth was flat. Even the top scientists of the day were certain that the sun revolved around the earth. Today, most people are sure that life on Earth is either the result of random evolution or a supernatural God. Or is it? In 'Intelligent Design', Rael presents us with a third option: that life on Earth was created by advanced human scientists from another world. In 1973, Rael was visited by one of these designers, who dictated a series of messages to him to share with all of humanity. This astonishing 'message from the designers' reveals knowledge on science, religion, love, relationships, government, meditation, infinity, sensuality, eternal life, and so much more, giving us the secrets to the past, present, and future of mankind...

Into the chains of Rael1
I read this as a free e-book out of curiosity. I am always looking for new ideas and manners of perception, particularly those that might be transformative.

I did not find this anywhere as engrossing or artfully woven as Barbara Marciniak's tales of the Pleiadians. It also was nowhere as sophisticated as the Seth material.

Generally speaking, I have nothing against the content of the book. Yes, I do believe in life on other planets, and yes, it's quite possible we were designed by more advanced beings. None of this is outlandish in my view. As for sensuality, indeed, we need to break the chains that make sex into a taboo, but, Rael's version of indiscriminate sex is equally pathological - it not only devalues the act of sexual exchange and those involved in it - it is hardly nourishing or fulfilling in the long run. Both extremes are apt to cause an imbalance. As for the issue of cloning: it is a matter of time before this becomes a reality. It is inevitable.

What I do take issue with is Rael's assertion of prophet-hood; it is ludicrous. Additionally, the persona that jumps out of the pages is that of a highly manipulative, hedonistic narcissist who's found the ultimate "free-ride" after his other ventures failed. None the less, this is certainly an intelligent and resourceful man who can make others do his bidding.

Read "Escape from Freedom" by Erich Fromm for his views on why people choose to be chained by such religions.

Pure rubbish...1
I will not recomend this book to anyone. It is plain stupidity and waste of time. :-)

Intelligent Design?!?!1
Realian named after Rael who charges extraordinary prices for his lectures witch is a typical ploy by his Ilk. If you don't believe why would you pay so much money. Claims that his religion explains what others don't. A Johnny come lately among UFO religions.
First mistake is claiming Elohim translates into "Those who come from the heavens" this is wrong if you read the Hebrew Bible this word ruffly means God but is debated.
Mistake two every ancient religion and mythology does not have sky people in there religion he selects a few moments from a few select religions I'm positive you can find similarities in all religions and finding similarities in a select few means nothing.
Mistake three DNA sequencing determines the structural units of RNA and DNA it will not create DNA at the push of a button and often makes mistakes. Cloning is a long way from being perfect Dolly the Sheep only lived half her life span and had progressive lung disease. Cloning is considered an experimental technology you get many bad embryos and is not a push button affair. CLONEING IS NOT CREATION YOU HAVE TO HAVE DNA TO CLONE OR COPY FROM. We can replace parts of DNA with other DNA but still need the source material or a copy.
The mistakes with the aliens are countless. Why would the Alien have to land on Earth why not beam the information don't they have radios. They created every religion WOW they are already responsible for the death and persecution of millions. Why take six days to relay the information don't they have printers. He ask the alien where he's from and he says far away couldn't he say five solar systems away or something. And then the Embassy, a society so advanced they created all life on earth and they need us to build an embassy on earth so they can properly present themselves shouldn't they have nanotechnology or something.
What about dinosaurs and the millions of other species that have gone extinct I guess the aliens did not make them too well. Just the logistics of creating life of an entire planet from scratch not bringing life from another planet but from scratch I don't care how advanced they are. That would take millions of years. And to top it off they don't look anything like us.
They created us but not war or hate this seems like an big oversight for such advanced beings if they created everything on earth where did hate come from?
For someone who is going to explain things other religions can't. He can't explain anything without referring to a religious book of some sort. The problem with the all major religions is there religious books are so abstract you can twist things to mean anything you want a made up word meaning here a passage there and instant "what ever I want". Why are there so many major religion divisions because no one can agree on anything that's in the famous puzzle and rhyme books the Bible, Koran, Torah est. est. On top of that there constantly being edited revised. With new versions and parts being thrown out put in on top of the questionable existence of Jesus and all of the religious figures in these books backed up by no facts, outside of said religious books and you have no proof what so ever.
The fact is if you believed in all that stuff any way you would not have any reason to explore a UFO religion that gives you less information than you had to begin with. A non-conformist religion that wants you to conform WOW sign me up.
