Very sweet story of a mouse who runs away after being ignored by parents who pay more attention to siblings. My son loves it even though he is an only child.

So funny! I was asked to read it 5 times the day I got it. The alligator keeps coming after the kids and scaring them until they tell him to go away (and scare him back).

This one cracks Django up. The cat is so cute and the text is simple and repetitive.

My son loves it when the little red hen stops following them. I love the visuals showing vegetables growing in the ground.

At first I wasn't sure about this title as Django doesn't even know what candy is but he seems to enjoy the playfulness of the pea anyway.

I was happy he liked this one which is not a story but a sweet counting poem.

He liked this one before he ever had pancakes. Done in visual a woman tries in vain to make her own pancakes only to end up eating the neighbors after her dog and cat eat her ingredients.

Fun classic easy to read rhyme.

I was worried this one would pale next to Llama Llama Red Pajama but I was wrong. Django especially likes the end where the mama llama kisses her baby.

Simple but silly - it's hard to imagine any toddler not liking this one - don't tickle the duck! or do!

Another great Barton book. A good intro to the Teeny Tiny Woman later.

I was happy to find such a great toddler book with a horse. Django has been asking for it daily!
