Silver is good!
I have yet to give this money clip, it is a gift for my husband, so I can not say how it will wear over time and with use. But, I looked at a lot, and chose this one. First, the silver is nice. The hammered effect gives the piece a certain richness. Let's face it, gold is expensive, and if you loose it you will spend a week in grief instead of a day.

I like the idea that the coin is dated. The date serves as a keepsake reminder. The monogram space is too, too tiny, but it can be done, if you you just want a few initials.

It is very pretty, and I am, so far, very pleased.

Large and clunky
Great for coin enthusiasts but it's very heavy and large for those who don't like a lot of stuff in their pocket. Plus, the year on the coin is 2002 - I mistakenly thought it would be from the current year.

Perfect
This piece is even better than i thought. Bought it for my dad and i will feel very honored to give it to him.. I know he will think this is a very classy piece. love the fact that the year is on it too. he will always remember what year the wedding took place. Very nicely made. can't wait to give it to him.
