The long awaited book from The Beatles' AR engineer. Although Emerick's memory of certain events is questionable, there is enough of real value here to make this one of the best recent Beatle books.

A great book about The Beatles' recordings before they made it big. It's a big book (460+ pages) due to the detailed, hard work of the author and the many recordings made by the early Beatles.

Lennon's writings aren't for everyone, but are an acquired taste that will have you laughing out loud on every page. A fascinating journey with a truly original mind. Also check out "Skywriting By Word of Mouth And Other Writings, Including 'The Ballad of John and Yoko.'" This latest of Lennon's books was of course, sadly unfinished.

An amazingly thorough account of each Beatles' solo work up to the year 2000. And don't look for an updated version any time soon; the author has stated nothing like that is in the works.

Doug has dedicated a big chunk of his life to perfecting a product desired by a relatively small, but loyal, clientele. His books are dedicating to making sense out of The Beatles' bootleg recordings (Beatlegs). His most up-to-date is this one. He's also started a hardback reprint series of his old newsletter "The 910". I highly recommend it, so if you are curious, Google it and check it out.

At the risk of redundancy, I'm including this book, not just because it's a good read, but it includes John's Beatle work, unlike Blaney's.
