My 6 year old loves it!
I bought this for my 1st grader - she is 6. She loves this game - to her it is a game - to me it is a great learning experience for her. Works great on my xp media center machine - trouble free to use, super easy to install.

Great for 1st grader
My first grader loves this game!
Nice refresher for the summer time.
She loves all of the games and it has kept
her interest. She has fininshed the game
to the end, however, still wants to play again
and again.

Fun but a bit clunky, too easy to breeze through
My 5-year-old likes this progam, but he quickly figured out that he can skip the actual reading-the-story sections to get to the next game levels, so he had worked through the whole thing in just a couple of hours. While the games are fun and educational, the graphics and music are clunky, and the program has to pause a lot to go back to the disc (we are using it on a laptop). For Mac users, the program only works on an older Mac or one with "OS 10 classic" which we don't have, so that was a disappointment.
