Product Description

As much as we'd like to deny it, the fact is that even in the good old U.S. of A. there have always been certain classes of people who are overlooked, disregarded, and ignored. This story is about one such person who takes advantage of the situation, and gets the last laugh when a dog sees more deeply than its master.

About the Author
C.K.Crigger, a North Idaho farm girl who spent twenty years working in the field of allergy pharmaceuticals, wrote her first several books working in two-hour time spans after a day in the office. She says working within those kind of time constraints teaches self-discipline and hard work, and encourages clarity of thought. Crigger credits her parents for her love of the western genre, as it was the prevalent reading material of her early years. Her father, who taught her much of the lore necessary for writing western novels, was the bridge between the old days and the present, she says. However, being blessed with a fertile imagination, her time-travel novels pressed her with the question, what if? The Gunsmith series is her answer.

This is a great, and very entertaining, little story. The twists and turns made me smile. I re-read it again, and I smiled twice. What else should you expect from C.K. Crigger? As a fellow member of the WWA, I'm a fan of all of her works. 5*!

Caper with a canine twist5
Parrot the dog had a "tail" to tell, if only the sheriff had been paying attention. Nicely done little mystery with just enough justice.
