One of my favorite books
This book has a wonderful compilation of photos and techniques mixed with commentary by the particular photographer and critique by the other author of the team. The photographs are inspiring, and I find the commentary to be interesting, valuable and enlightening. This is a wonderful bargain as a coffee table book with plenty of other information useful for a growing photographer. The book contains sections on the elements of composition and lighting (mostly natural, outdoor)as well as more brief overviews of tools and techniques of image capture, darkroom, and digital manipulation. There is also a section on special subjects and a few examples from famous photographers.
