Rechargeables That Has a Shelf Life That Rivals Alkalines
The biggest drawback for Nickel Metal Hydride batteries is the shelf life. I got gadgets and toys all around the house, so I constantly charging batteries to have them ready when I need them. There will be very little juice left if you put them in the shelf unused for a couple of months. A waste of time and energy. Hence, one of the biggest advancement in battery technology is the arrival of the new low discharge Nickel Metal Hydride batteries. This is another great step in helping the environment. I have very few left of the old batteries since I started to replace all of them with low discharge batteries. Eneloops and Duracell are 2 of the best of its kind.

Pros:
-Low discharge.
-Fine quality product. Well constructed
-Conventional size and dimension. I had other batteries that I have to use a screwdriver to remove from my camera because it is fatter than other "AA's".
-Can be charged on your existing NiMh charger.
-Sleek and sexy design

-Rated not more than 2000-2100 mAh

Awesome!
I put Eneloops in everything now! They last forever. They don't cost much more than regular batteries and they can be recharged many times. The best part is, they will not go dead sitting in a camera, Wii remote, etc. while not being used like other rechargeables. If you buy the big kit, it comes with a charger and spacers to use for C and D cell. Great for camping.

Great way to go Green
These batteries are excellent and perform as reviewed on their website. It seems that they work better if used with their charger. The only heads up I'd give is that when ordering, see to it that they consolidate the shipping cost when ordering multiple packages of various size batteries.
