The standard size for bran and pumpkin muffins, as well as decadent chocolate-chocolate-chip cupcakes, this 12-cup nonstick muffin pan works wonderfully for brunches and small birthday parties. Made from high-quality aluminum, this Calphalon pan distributes and maintains heat, ensuring even cooking from the sides to the bottom. Its reinforced rims prevent curvature of the cooking surface, and also maintain consistent baking throughout the pan, while the professional nonstick coating makes hand washing easy--not only do blueberry muffins slip off the pan, but so does leftover grease and berry juice. You Get What You Pay For
I bake muffins constantly. Ordinary muffin tins I have purchased looked so grungy after so little time that I finally decided to spend the extra money on a Professional Non-Stick. I am so pleased with the quality of this pan. It bakes beautifully, the muffins slip right out of the pan even when I don't use grease or spray, and it cleans up like a dream!

Nearly no need for cooking spray.
I enjoy baking muffins. My usual complaint is that no matter how well you clena the muffin pans after each use, they never stay nice looking for long. These have done so for more than ayear and numerous times in the oven. They are so nonstick, you can almost forgo cooking sprays. The muffins practically pop out ontheir own when done baking. Cleaning is done in a blink. I ammonly disappointed I no longer have these, I had 2. When I was moving, the box these were in disappeared. So I will have to get 2 more. The price, it is great. You can not purchase good Professional Nonstick muffin pans for this price, they are at least 2x's as much. At this price, do as I did, get 2!

The best muffin pan I've found!
We have muffins often, so when my old rusty muffin pan needed replacing, I went on the search for a top-notch muffin pan.

I learned some things the hard way: A muffin pan with a NONSTICK SURFACE is essential (unless you want to leave half of each muffin in the tins). And, a muffin pan with a DARKENED SURFACE is best (light-colored shiny pans are great for cookies and cakes, but not for muffins; muffins will turn out pale & anemic-looking if they're baked in a shiny pan).

After buying two bad muffin pans, I found this one by Calphalon, and my problems were solved!

What I love about this pan:

* It's 15-1/2" X 11", a bit larger than most muffin pans. This leaves room on the ends for picking it up, and more space between the tins. If you have recipes that make generous-sized muffins, there is room for them to overflow the tins a bit.

* Each tin is 2-3/4" wide. This is the modern standard.

* The muffin pan is really nonstick! Muffins will glide out.

* You can use cooking spray of you want to; it will not damage the pan. This is helpful for really sticky batters.

* Calphalon makes a 6-muffin pan of the same material, and it's sold by Amazon. That pan is handy for small batches, or to use along with the larger pan when a muffin recipe makes more than 12.

* This pan is not flimsy; it is heavy enough that it won't warp.

* Muffins come out perfectly browned! A hint: as with any darker pan, subtract 25 degrees from the stated time on a recipe.

* You can use paper liners if you want, but they're not necessary with this pan; clean-up is a breeze!
