Dr. Van Brummelen has succeeded at writing in a way that is helpful for every Christian teacher in both state schools and Christian schools. Scattered throughout each chapter are "Footsteps" to provide questions and situations for the discussions teachers and principals will want to have. Bulleted items at the end of each chapter review the most important points. If I were teaching a course in curriculum, I would make Steppingstones to Curriculum required reading.
