Buy new: $1.15 Great for wrapping a wound and much lighter than an ACE wrap. Rather than take an entire roll of this, re-roll about 10 or 15 feet onto a pen (the pen may come in handy as well).

Buy new: $11.38 - $17.95 Some 20# spider wire goes well and again takes up almost no space - just don't pack the entire spool. Cut out a piece of non-corrugated cardboard about the size of a credit card and wrap this around the long-end. You've got fishing line, sewing thread, and some emergency fire starting material.
