About the Author
I first stumbled across the story of Tutankhamen back in the 1960s in a Los Angeles bookstore. His mystery captured me, this 'unknown' ruler, whose name had been deliberately erased and forgotten for three thousand years. King Tut became the world's first Superstar thousands of years after he lived and died. The only King of Egypt ever found with all his funeral regalia. For years I pursued his story, tracking down rare tomes on Egyptian lore, eagerly devouring new archaeological texts, pondering the images of the artifacts from his tomb, and attempting to resolve the maze of conflicting theories fanatically propounded by academically esteemed Egyptologists and other scholars. Author and photojournalist, René O'Deay has a B.A. in Technical Journalism, News/Editorial and Broadcast News/Documentary Film, has been an investigative journalist, a newspaper and radio reporter, a photojournalist, and a professional photographer, operating an Old Tyme Portrait Studio in the Wild West and wilder New Orleans for 9 years. She has also been an entertainer, and has experience in dealing with the public, media, public relations and promotions. Now living in the Greater New Orleans area. "To speak the name of the dead is to make them live again."

BLOCKBUSTER BOOK: When Is The Movie Coming Out?
THE MUST READ BOOK FOR ALL AGES. BUY THIS BOOK NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SUN CHILD, PRINCE OF EGYPT, TALES OF KING TUT is awesome in its myriad of splendor! Released from their Spiritual Enclave are the MUSES and they have spoken, if you are very quiet you may hear them too! While reading the book I could hear the sounds of nature, the sounds of ages past just as Rene' has written about the days and nights of Ancient Egypt. Rene' has captured the essence of Ancient Egypt and I know, I am an Egyptologist and King Tut buff.
During this amazing journey I became part and parcel of the unfolding of events that the MUSES revealed, they were telling me their secrets, a secret that only you can find by reading this book. But what would a review be without a secret or two from the reviewer. Rene' offers an interpretation of Ancient Egypt that beckons us to step into the picture postcard world of KING TUT, THE BOY PRINCE.
Destined to be the King of Egypt we follow along as the young and future King lives his daily life in all its glory, spirituality and the nature of being a child. We are taken to the thoughts of the future King and his Court and interact as an active participant. How Rene' has managed to do this is a testament to her keen sense of writing ability and the guidance of the MUSES, I know this because I asked her.
The essence of any great artist is that within any great masterpiece we find that the work stays within us and that is surely the case at hand. I am an avid reader with a voracious appetite for anything having to do with Ancient Egypt but through all of my readings ONLY in SUN CHILD can I visualize with certainty the scenery, closing my eyes see the sunrise over the Nile and hear the wind blowing through the sails of boats.
Now, this is a writer! Rene' has conveyed images that leap off of the pages and into my heart and soul. Every chapter reveals a complex way of life that works on many levels and is one that all ages will enjoy. I hope a motion picture will be made of this fantastic work. I am certain that King Tut himself would be riveted to his Throne had he gotten a copy from Amazon.
I wholeheartedly recommend this book, in fact buy a truckload and pass them out to all of your friends.
