Customer Reviews

A wonderful book!5
I loved this book! It weaves Bible history and secular history together in a way I have not seen before. It's an easy, quick read, but leaves much to mull over and consider. Highly recommended!

Great Book!5
Love the way Ruth Beechick has put her books together. This is a great study tool and worth it's weight in gold. How cleverly she joined history and compiled it into a non exhaustive book. I highly recommend it!

Unverified Material2
I had purchased two books of Ruth Beechick and liked them very much, but I very disappointed in this book.

She makes statements with providing any references. She shows a map of Antarctica before it was covered with ice, but does not say where this map is located, who made it or found it. Nothing so you can verify what she said. This seems to be a book for teachers so a footnote and a quote from her source of information would have been appropriate.

The same with the Rift thatgoes from Africa through the Red Sea and into Israel and Greece (?) I have never heard that it went across the Mediterranean into Greece but can I find out more information. No because I don't know where this information came from.

And I disagree with her that that "Upheaval on both sides of the rift destroyed more cities." was caused at the same time as the destruction and the judgment on Sodom, Gomorrah and 3 other cities.
