This is an incredible book! I love the Maxwells! This book is just one of their many encouraging books. Teri is the mother of 8 children and has homeschooled 3 into adulthood so far. She has struggled with everything from anger to depression and shares the way she overcame both. She doesn't mince words or candy coat things. I felt this book got me back on track and I look forward to rereading it this year too. I have shared it with 3 of my homeschooling friends who have been helped by her wisdom as well. I highly recommend this if you choose to be a woman who is strong yet has a meek and quiet spirit. Excellent, excellent book!
I too, love the Maxwells! Teri's warmth and "realness" shine in this offering. She clearly identifies what robs us of our meek & quiet spirit - disorganization, anger & fear. She goes on to share how the Lord is teaching (note the lack of the past tense - she's still journeying with us!!!) her to faithfully deal His way with these issues.
