Mean clean
When I say clean, I mean CLEAN. Never has any professional service met my standards in cleaning my carpet. Capture cleans better (far better) than any product or service I've used. I like it. It can stay.

Best Carpet Cleaner I've Found
This product has amazed more than once. I spilled red wine on the carpet I though would never come out. I got what I could up with cool water and a sponge. WHen that dried I used the Capture spray and powder and it made the carpet like new. Sometimes it cleans too well. Example is if your carpet is clean but still not as clean as new. Sometimes spot treating will return the spot to just like new and it will be very slightly lighter than the rest. Remedy: clear the rest of the carpet to match. I've used Capture mostly on spot treating spills and general dirt near "high traffic areas", so I don't know how it works on all stains. A bit laborious for large sreas if you use the enclosed brush to set the poweder; may not be a replacement for a periodic steam cleaning.

Just Okay
I've tried the powder twice to control musty odors. It worked for a few days. Ultimately the odor returned. The powder collected in the vacuum bag was just as white in color as it was when first applied. I interpret that to mean that no dirt was absorbed. Carpet did not look any cleaner either.
