Customer Reviews

Good product, not enough tape5
I tried this brand over others because it has color options that blend well with a variety of furniture. So our house is safe for the little ones but we don't look like the neurotic safety geeks that we are. I installed the pads on a wrought iron coffee table, and they have so far withstood tugging and fidgeting from our 16 month old twin girls. That said, I did not follow the installation instructions, and if I had I think the pads would be in the trash by now. The manufacturer recommends running a solid strip of tape along one side of the pads, which leaves the other side an easy target for little fingers and gives them leverage to pull the pads off. If the manufacturer included enough tape, which they don't (I hope you're reading this KidKusion), I would recommend running a solid strip of tape along BOTH sides of the pads, but since tape is limited, what I did was cut it into smaller strips, a few inches each, and stagger them on both sides of the pad. It was a little more time consuming, but made the pads much more secure. I would also recommend putting the tape as close to the outer edge as possible so little fingers can't get under the edges and start prying. Working with the tape and backing wasn't a problem for me, but fingernails do come in handy. The manufacturer also recommends measuring and cutting the strips before sticking them down, which seems like it would leave too much room for error since the strips stretch and compress. I installed the corner pieces first and then cut the strips after they were almost completely secured to the table so that the pieces would match up well. You have to cut with one steady snip of the scissors - multiple snips will make the edges jagged and a bit unsightly (I learned that the hard way). Even staggering the tape, I did run out early and had to track down extra, but even so I'm pleased with the outcome, and you hardly notice the pads because they blend in so well. I'm just crossing my fingers that the tape doesn't leave a film behind, but I can't speak to that quite yet.

Nice cushions, but the tape supplied is useless1
The doublesided tape that comes with these cushions is absolutely useless. It's near impossible to get the backing off the tape. I don't know if it holds the cushions onto the corners or not, because I just threw mine away and bought my own doublestick tape. I think the cushions work fine, but if you're planning on buying these, plan on buying your own doublestick tape. If I hadn't thrown away the package they came in already, I'd be sending these back. It was a waste of my time and money.

Toddler table corners2
The corners did not stick well to my table and when they came off it was hard to get the sticky stuff off my table. Within 2 weeks, all 8 were off my table.
