A must have!
We had tried the Shed-Ender which was terrible, an awful waste-of-money. A guy up the street had recommended the FURminator, and I found it cheap here on Amazon, but it certainlt would be worth twice the price!!! Works bloody well on my long-haired terrier mix. My short haired pit doesn't like it too much (he's a bit precious), but it takes off his undercoat like no brush ever seen! A true find!!!!
Fabulous!
When my sister recommended that I buy a Furminator to deshed my two Siberian Huskies, I never believed that it could do better than my old wire dog brush. However, the Furminator is fantastic -- and better than anything I've ever used! You just use it like a brush, but it gets out tons of underfur. Two recommendations -- if you have big hairy dogs, you might go outside on your first use. It gets out SO much fur that you might not want to be in your house on the first use. Second, if you have a big dog, get the 4-inch FURminator. It is a really terrific tool!

So far, it really removes the hair. My Golden, Bailey, does not seem to like it
much so I have to be more careful when I'm brushing her.
