I would not have been able to keep giving my baby breast milk if it hadn't been for this pump. After 4 lactation consultants, both of us were crying almost every feeding. I bought this for returning to work but ended up exclusively pumping after about 5 weeks of crying and bleeding daily. Now we can snuggle and look forward to mealtimes, and we get the bonding we were missing; Daddy does, too!

This is not a "must have," but it definitely was a better brush than the wire-only brush we were using. The bottles are long and narrow, making it impossible to get a sponge inside, and we use bottles too often to wait on the dishwasher, so this made things faster and more convenient for us.

These bags are terrific - so much better than the Medela bags. They are bigger and sturdier, have more room to allow them to freeze flat and thin, and stand up better. Because they can freeze flat and thin, it's faster to heat them in lukewarm water, reducing the chance of destroying the critical elements of breast milk.

This is the best stroller! It's very sturdy (we've accidentally gone offroading a few times) yet lightweight. It really does fold up with one hand, and it fits beautifully in the trunk of my compact car even with groceries. The basket underneath is surprisingly roomy, though it's easier to put things in when the car seat isn't in place. I also love that the handles are adjustable since I'm tall.

I don't know how we would have survived without this co-sleeper. It's sturdy enough for all night yet can be easily (and quietly!) wheeled from room to room at naptime. Especially during those first few weeks, this totally saved our sanity. The side arm can be let down to facilitate easy transfer from bed to co-sleeper; this makes nighttime feedings much easier.

Pampers Swaddlers are the absolute best ever! These diapers have contained the most impressive blowouts and have prevented leaks from the rare all-night sleep fest. They don't give my son a rash or have a cloying scent, and they are soft yet strong. The closure works magically - it can be easily removed for readjustment, yet the diapers never come undone at inopportune times.

My son has terrible gas, and our entire household has spent many tear-filled hours after feedings. We finally found the right combo of bottles and gas relief to give comfort, and Little Tummys is one of the most important tools in our household. We tried other brands of gas relief drops, and nothing worked as consistently as these. My son also likes the taste, which is always a bonus!

As panicky, first-time parents, we've been anxious at every cough or sneeze and were nearly hysterical when our son got sick. This allowed us to monitor his temperature during a nasty cold without upsetting an already unhappy baby. We even used it while he was sleeping without any problems.

This bra made a huge difference in the comfort of my pumping sessions. Not only could I now more easily do something else, my shoulders have much less pain and pressure because I'm not hunching over to keep the bottles in place on my legs.

These microwave steam bags were amazing for deep cleaning my pumping supplies to keep them free of bacteria. Clever!

I found these washable nursing pads much more comfortable and reliable (as well as less lumpy & crinkly) than disposables. I felt more secure that they wouldn't leak, and they didn't get me a bulls-eye silhouette the way some of the disposables did. Also, since I'm using disposable diapers, I'm glad to go green in some other manner.
