Great product with faulty part, shoddy customer service
This is the best piece of audio equipment I've ever purchased, as became obvious from the moment I opened the thorough packaging and saw the white gloves included. It's nicely designed, easy to use, and sounds great. However, the power supply for the iPod dock was faulty causing the power to cut out periodically. My email to Fatman asking what to do about this remains unanswered after 15 days. Rather than go through trying to return the whole 33 lb package to Amazon, and forsake the use of the beautiful product, I chose to replace the power supply at Radio Shack for about $10. I wish this first review could have been 5 stars, but it seems Fatman has some work to do first.

One other note: the product is shipped with a metal cage over the tubes that makes them much harder to see. It is easily removable, but you are warned that the tubes get hot and to leave the cage in place for your safety.

Excellent System for iPod's and iPhone
Was a bit uncertain, before I purchased the iTube for my son for college, but the system is outstanding. It has held up very well after 6 months of "dorm" usage at loud volumes and moving the system back and forth from college by car (6 hour drive). In addition, for summer cook outs, we have been moving the systems from my son's room to the back deck, with no incident or issue.

The sound is very smooth and mellow, yet brings a solid bass to any rock music. The additional head phone connector allows easy switching between the iPod and a computer.

I have used the system with an iPhone and it worked fine. I did get a message on the iPhone that it was connecting to a non-compatible device, but both the iTube and my iPhone continue to work fine, with no obvious ill effects. That said, having an iPod, minimizes the use of the iPhone.

Overall, very please with the sound, durability and power of the system, including the speakers. Highly Recommended!

Fatman itube
This is an excellemt stereo. The instrction manual doesn't say much but
hooking up the stero is pretty basic. It helps to know that you have to use
the remote to turn on the system which is not mentioned in the said manual.
The sound is great, excellent value for the price.
