Noisy, but cool to watch
Changes colors, nice to watch, but motor kinda noisy. Guess it provides some "white noise". Easy to assemble, but requires distilled water.

Awesome!
Awesome visual effect with an ever changing LCD lighting system and mesmerizing presentation. This product was easy to set up and totally quiet. I am glad the manufacturer said to use distilled water [a small cost] because by using said water this item will last for years. If someone used regular tap water the pump would quickly gum up by all the impurities in the water. A fun toy with some educational properties. I recommend this vortex most highly.

too noisy for the price
I thought this item was very cool to watch........ if I was deaf or didnt have ears! It is very noisy! It kind of ruins the cool effects of the mesmerizing water swirling around and changing colors. After spending so much on it with the shipping costs I guess I expected more, but the noise forces me to give it only 2 stars....
