FRAULEIN REVOLTECH is the name given to a new dimension of Revoltech completely devoted to female character created and sculpted by the brilliant Enoki Tomohide, using an innovative and newly developed joint/body system known as "E.L.F." "Pocco" is originated from the picture & art book "Sweet Dreams," created by the famous Japanese illustrator Shunya Yamashita. Customer Reviews
Well sculpted, but fragile and hard to pose.
Fun-
Pocco is well articulated, but she's designed to be displayed; not played with. As such, most of her joints are hidden in unusual places which can make posing tough. Once I saw how all the parts are designed to work, it was easier to get her into some nice poses. Pocco's design, sculpt, and paint are all very well done. Her face is expressionless, but very cute. Pocco comes with a sword, three sets of hands (open, closed, and gripping) and a basic, but useful stand.
Durability-
Pocco is notorious for falling apart at the joints. I must of gotten lucky because I haven't had such problems. The only issue I've had is that the peg of her left wing is loose and it's easily pulled out. Be very gentle with her to avoid any problems.
Conclusion-
Pocco is a fragile figure with a very nice design and sculpt. I can only recommend her if you like her enough to look past the high possibility of breakages.
So-so build, not as good as compared to other Revoltechs...
Now, don't get me wrong, I don't think it has anything to do with the seller, which has shipped the product to me promptly and arrived in original packaging and in pristine condition. HOWEVER, the product itself seems a little shoddy in terms of craftsmanship. I have a Revoltech VF-1S, also which I purchased elsewhere, and am using it for comparison. This Fraulein model is very finely detailed, as with all Revoltech's products, but the fitment of the pieces do not seem to be of quality construction. The shoulders do not hold as well nor do the arms. The pieces, if not handled properly, will fall off. I do not play with my models/figures, but I do like to position them every once in a while.
All in all, I am satisfied but yet it leaves me wishing for better...this could be an isolated piece and others may be better...
not too bad
it was pretty much exactly what i expected when i bought it. I collect these things and to be honest i am rather pleased with the quality/price of the Revoltech dolls. As far as shipping goes it was shipped promptly and arrived on time in perfect condition. Like i said the toy was exactly as advertised...however you should be warned that this one is mostly for display purposes rather then playing with and constant reposing due to the fact that her parts seem to be less well attached than others of this series. In short she makes a wonderful addition to any collection but not a very good toy for playtime.
