Dear Mrs. Henley,
I love Day by Day Kid's Bible. I have struggled for years to read the Bible and have often felt like I am still in Bible Pre-K at the age of 36. I got the Kid's Bible at CPC 2006 in Orlando and have actually been able to read page after page every day without feeling like I was lost or confused again. Better yet, God has revealed to me things I've never understood about the Bible before through my reading the Kid's Bible. Even my four year old will sit and listen to 7 minutes and want to know more like I do. Also, my husband who is undecided about his belief has taken to reading this version and we have begun to have discussions about God's word without him being defensive. I understand this is just one version of God's word, but it has helped me so much and has begun to minister to my husband who has always felt confused when he tried to read the Bible.

THANK YOU for all you do. I know you are truly fulfilling one of God's purposes for us on this earth which is ministering to others.

kid' reading the bible and loving it????
this is a great book to get children, I'll say 2nd to 5th grade, to read and understand important stories in the bible. It is a day by day reader that should take around 7 to 10 minutes depending on reading skills. there are some illustrations to break up the copy. stories that might appear in different chapters are combined and told in one chapter with references to other chapters. violence and sexual stories are removed/kept to a minimum. Something to consider... GOd is always referred to with a male pronoun. Great indices in the back for referencing stories.

A Great Way for Children to Study God's Word
This Bible has been great for my 7 year old daughter. She is able to read the daily readings in about 10 minutes each day. If she gets behind, she can spend more time catching up, thus giving her a feeling of accomplishment and accountability. My prayer is that she will read the Bible through many times with this reading tool that comes imbedding in the Day by Day Kids Biblle by Tyndale.

Day by Day Bible
As a children's minister I love to encourage families to read the Bible together. The Day by Day Kids Bible is the perfect Bible for the entire family. 7 minutes a day to read the entire Bible through in a year is a great challenge for each family. Today I passed out ten more Bibles to families who want to accept the challenge and read through the Bible in one year. That makes 25 families so far and I expect!
