A disturbing look at how obsessed one person can get.5
I am not a huge fan of Eminem at all,but this song is one song by him that I find to be very well done. The song shows that Eminem actually has some talent. The song is a look at how obsessed one person can get over one person. The song was well done.Dido's voice is perfect for the song.Unlike most of Eminem's music this song is orginal, well written, and well produced.Good job to Eminem for recording one amazing song.

I hate Em. I like this song. Why? Read below.4
1. Eminem kills noone in this song. 2. No irrating Em-rap chrouses. 3. Phil reference. Phil is not attacked nor killed nor dissed nor in a realtionship with Fred Durst or Chrsitina Aguilera ;). That's a first for our friend Marshall. 4. The style of writing is kinda cool, how Em changes his voice for "Stan" and for himself. 5. Dido is awesome!! Go Dido! 6. I dig the sound effects. 7. This song wasn't overplayed... so... pay for this single if you must have an Em thingy.

I don't like Eminem. His beliefs are outdated and the bulk of his songs have no merit. I'm not a rap fan to begin with, but when I first heard "Stan" on the radio, I had to rethink that credo. The single samples Dido's "thank you" as the chorus. Em raps about obsessive fans with gut-wrenching alacrity. Whether you like him or not, the single is hard to ignore. The video, which is included on the single, is worth paying the import price. He has a knack to drum up contreversy, but this time, the topic of contreversy has universal merit. hopefully, a record of the year grammy nod could be in the future.
