I think this is really the best one in a more quietly educated way, like Dylan... Always fun to listen to. Michelle, Norwegian Wood, In My life....what more can I say ?

An achievement in the annals of pop music, and very cohesive at least in the melding of everything together. I don't think there is such a great 'theme' other than it being their alter-ego "Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band'! The Songs are happy, energetic,psychedelic,dreamy,inventive,surreal.....but alot of the songs aren't quite finished works on their own.. are they ?

What a huge album ! I really think this is the one to top 'em all....Lennon's songs are not quite as 'hit' oriented, but 'Tomorrow Never Knows' I think is their best, and Lennon's best!! Paul writes some doozies for this album throughout.Good George output.

Really a nice stripped down version of the album without those crappy Spector strings ala 'Wall of sound'. I really don't like the original album very much...it brings on the blues more than expressing them!! This version is fresher and personal.

A nice selection of their hits, A & B sides (brings back memories from buying their 45's)- it's like the 'Hey Jude' album/'Let it Be' album, with a sprinkle of 'Rubber Soul' and 'Revolver'....good selection of songs.

It's got 'Yesterday', 'Help!', and 'Ticket To Ride' and has a more sophisticated sound I think. Fun album.
