My fave of their songs is DONUT AND A DREAM, only on vinyl LP five years after their comeback hit CAB DRIVER. Add a collection of their biggest hits. I hear that Brian Wilson studied their harmonies in writing most Beach Boys songs. One reason why the Beach Boys are my favorite group perhaps????

What a magical otherwordly voice. SO talented. Wish he chose more interesting songs. My favorite is his version of Leonard Cohen's BIRD ON A WIRE, Christian lyrics added. Exhilarating with or without them. This is my fave CD of his.

The first musical artist who 'grabbed' me, just before the Beach Boys and the Tijuana Brass.(eclectic kid or what?) His politics are obnoxious, his interviews pretentiously pseudo-intellectual, but the music of his early career was exhuberant. Appealing voice.

I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU is one of the most heartbreaking solos I know (See my 'Heartbreaking Songs' Listmania). She also does a fab version of JESUS LOVES ME together with it on a CD single. Hope she gets her career back on track. She's on my Listmania: The Hottest Celebrity Women Of All Time.
