This costume runs REALLY BIG!!! My daughter is a true size 5, so I order size 4-6 and she is swimming in it. It is more like an 8. I was very disappointed and I will have to do alterations so it works for her for Halloween. :(

BUYER INFORMATION!
Other reviewer was right on the money--this costume runs HUGE! My daughter is almost 6, wears a size 6X, and is 44" tall & 42 lbs....and the size 4T-6X was HUGE. It was too big for my 12 year old nephew! The 3T fit her perfectly--(ordered from California Costumes).

Yes, they took back my item & refunded my charges, but I LOST MONEY in the deal. Not great customer service in my book. :(

Size 2-4T fits the average 6 year old
I bought this costume for my 3.5 year old who wears a 4/5T. She is big for her age and is in 75th percentile for both height and weight. This costume in a size 2-4T was way too long and wide and it fell off of her shoulders. I had to sew the length up 3 inches so she wouldn't trip on it. And I had to sew the shoulders up 2 inches on each side so it wouldn't fall off of her shoulders. This is a great costume if you like to sew and don't mind spending too much money in general for something that doesn't fit. Also, she only wore it twice and the bottom part has runs throughout it like pantyhose. It is not very well made but is very cute and covers the body, unlike most of these costumes. She loved wearing it...I just didn't expect to have to tailor it like a wedding dress.
