Is this the Toy of the Year?5
This is by far the best toy ever. I knew when I saw it that we were in for fun. The kids and adults love them. There are two fast bugs and two slower bugs that can climb over each other. There were a lot of laughs and screams as the bugs raced under chairs and back. I would keep them away from younger children. My 2 year old niece got her hands on one of the bugs and it no longer works. But this toy is do much fun that I would be happy to buy it again.

A whole lot of BUGGY fun!!5
I purchased this bugbot robot set for my 9 year old nephew and we have had a ton of fun with them. The two fast bugs can scurry around chasing the screaming little girls and two smallers can crawl over one another. Both adults and kids were having a blast with these bugs! I had a hard time finding them in stores and was glad to finally find that Amazon is carrying them!!

Battery eating bugs2
These bugs are pretty fun to watch and my kids were at first delighted with them. However, "robotic" and "interact" seem like big words for a wheeled bug that turns when it runs into a wall. There are 2 main problems with the toy: 1)If you let the bugs run around your kitchen or hallway (they don't work well on carpet, especially not the fast ones) they invariably end up getting stuck in a corner and just quietly run out of battery. My 3 and 5 year old would not bother going looking for the toy (out of sight, out of mind) and unless I found it and turned it off within a short time, the batteries (3 AAAs per bug x 4 bugs) were drained. That is a lot of batteries to replace for what really is one toy!! 2) The wheels of the fast bugs spin very fast and the tiniest blockage will make the wheels spin at different speeds, making the bug go in circles. One of the fast bugs got a hair wrapped around it's axle and although I was able to remove pretty much all of it, it never ran straight again. After 3 days of frustration, I stopped replacing the drained batteries and we've never played with them again and no one misses them.
