Simply Amazing!
What the description above doesn't tell you is that this stuff is also vegetarian AND kosher! It's great on popcorn, burgers (both beef and veggie), eggs, chicken, salads, you name it. Anything you'd normally want to put bacon on or think bacon would enhance the flavor!
This is ideal for those looking to cut back on the fat and salt in regular bacon. Also great for those who like bacon but just don't eat meat or pork. It's a wonderful seasoning that works with almost anything.
Gross
It sounds like a great idea, but you'll end up throwing it in the garbage after trying it a few times. The first thing you'll notice is the smell when you shake it on something, which smells strongly chemical. If you use it sparingly, it can add a nice liquid smoke flavor to your cooking...but then you'll taste the chemical aftertaste for a long time after you eat. I've put it on scrambled eggs, which was pretty good, if a little weird, but everything else I've tried it in, I later regretted it. You could just buy Bac-Os and get the same experience.
It actually tastes good!
I was expecting a nasty faux-bacon flavour-type. But the salt actually does taste of bacon, and is great on eggs. Nice service from the company too.
