Great recording
This cd accomplishes what it sets to do. Each tune makes a concise statement using humor, and rhythm quite effectively. There are no long guitar solos instead the solos are concise and musical. In comparison to their other recordings these songs are short and instead of any angry edge these guys are having fun. This record swings like crazy and is wonderful to listen to. Buy a copy for a friend because you're going to be talking about it.
The rockabilly cd!!!
If you want to hear the Paladins playing rockabilly, this is teh cd to get. Each Paladins cd is unique and offers different styles(for instance if you want boppi nblues buy thier "Let's Buzz" cd). This cd showcases thier "Sun Records" style mid 50's rockabilly type songs. This cd is representitive of what you might hear them play, per sat at The Doll Hut. A great cd, and a purrfect way to get introduced to the unique and swingin' trio...
The Paladins - Palvoline No. 7
Here's a great record that you enjoy more with each listening. Powershake and Hot-Rod-Rockin are my favorites, but none of the tracks will disappoint you if you enjoy rock and roll in it's classic form, some tracks have a country feel, but this album is 100% Paladins. No. 7 and Let's Buzz are my picks for their best albums, but the only thing better than hearing the Paladins is seeing the Paladins live, a very fine example of great American Rock & Roll.
