Customer Reviews

Very Sharp and great for the price5
This is a great mandolin for small jobs. It is extremely sharp, cleans easily and can be taken apart easily to clean thoroughly or sharpen the blade. This is a great mandolin for most home cooks, it's not heavy duty but it gets the job done. It's also very compact so it stores easily.

The cutting surface is a little small so it won't slice large greens like cabbage but it does a great job on carrots, cucumbers and most potatoes (potatoes sometimes have to be trimmed slightly)

Perfect mandoline5
This is a great product and it arrived on time and in excellent condition. I previously owned one and gave it to my daughter. Bought a much more expensive product and tossed it out. Nice to have the real thing again.

Waste is the key to this beauty.5
I have had the Benringer for over 5 years now, and like it so much that I bought it for my best friend. My advice to him: "the key to staying intact with this gadget is waste - waste and cut thyself not - vegetables are cheap". I wash and dry the gadget (and detachable blades) while the food is cooking, along with my Sabatier Au Carbon. I don't think I have ever detected rust. In any case, you can get replacement blades.
