Amazon.com Product Description
With its beautiful, easy-to-use design, this 8-cup automatic drip coffeemaker brews great-tasting coffee and nicely compliments any kitchen decor. Made of elegant ceramic and thermal-insulated steel, the unit's white carafe with the word "coffee" across the front functions not only as an attractive serving piece, but it also keeps 40 ounces of coffee hot for up to five hours. The coffeemaker offers a simple push-button control panel, with a digital display and blue LED indicator lights, which allows for simple programming of the automatic timer. The unit's pause-and-serve function makes it easy to pour a quick cup midbrew, and at the end of the brewing cycle, the appliance automatically shuts off for safety. Other highlights include a handy clock, a 40-ounce top-filling water reservoir, and power-cord storage for keeping countertops tidy. As needed, wipe the exterior of both the thermal carafe and the coffeemaker with a damp cloth, then dry thoroughly. The inside of the thermal carafe and all removable parts of the coffeemaker should be washed by hand in soapy water, rinsed thoroughly, and dried. The coffeemaker measures approximately 12-1/5 by 8-1/5 by 14-1/2 inches and carries a one-year limited warranty.

Pros and Cons3
Pros: it looks good; it keeps coffee warm for a LONG time (couple hours--long enough to drink it before it begins to cool); it's fun to have a ceramic pot with company; makes decent coffee.
Cons: no water-level guage--we over filled it several times and it just spills all over; you can't use the carafe to fill the machine with water--without the lid, the carafe is not designed to pour, which is dumb!; it makes about 6 cups of coffee, not 8.
We like this maker, but will not buy another one once this one goes out. It was expensive for all the cons. However, we enjoy it enough that we're not returning it or cursing it or whatever. :)

Wonderful5
We have had our coffee maker for several months now and could not be more pleased with it. We have not had a problem with coffee getting on the counter like another reviewer said was a problem. It makes wonderful coffee and the coffee still steams when poured four hours later. The only down side is that it only makes 8 cups of coffee instead of the usual 12.

good coffee maker4
I wanted someting that could be cleaned, something with a pot that poured without leaving a mess. It provides that. Filling the water reservoir? Either use the pot with the lid on or fill to the mark on the internal tube and don't go past 8. Like all coffee makers, they assume minature cup - probably 6 oz. With our best cups (not mugs) get a little less than 4 cups from a pot. Pot is very heavy. Overall appears well made, and looks good on the counter.
