It has a round black dial, with luminous markers and large luminous hands, set in a gold-toned stainless steel bezel with coin-edge detail. The watch features a date window at the three o’clock position and three sub-dials. The chronograph offers precise stopwatch timing, measuring up to 60 minutes in 1/5-second increments. The alarm sub-dial has two small hands and can be set on a 12-hour basis. It doubles as an international travel clock since the alarm hands can be set to indicate the time in a different time zone. This watch also has a bi-directional rotating slide rule bezel for performing many types of calculations. Other features include a scratch-resistant curved Hardlex crystal and a screw-down crown and caseback. The watch is presented on a gold-toned stainless steel link bracelet that fastens with a fold-over-push-button-clasp-with-safety. Water-tested to 200 meters, the watch is suitable for skin diving. It has a battery life of two to three years.

The Best Watch I ever bought
This Seiko is a real manly, macho & beautifully presented watch that I can show off every day & I have not had it off my wrist since I received it. The local Jeweller had never seen one and told me to insure it for $800.00. I was Rapt!! The guys at work have repeatedly asked me where I got it but I am selfish and don't want to see it around too much. It is fantastic, beautiful and unless I get my left arm cut off, it will never leave me. Thanks Amazon & Seiko.

Impressive watch
The Seiko Flight Alarm is all it was advertised to be. It has a quality look and feel, is impressive to look at, and gets compliments. I have no clue how to use the information on the outer rings, and my eyes would not allow me to if I did, but I did not buy it for those features. The watch works as it should, and the hands are easy to read day or night. The only negative is a marginal owner's manual.

Too fragile - stem comes out too easily causing time & date issues - stop watch second hand moves when it's supposed to be off if I shake my wrist.
