Chardonnay comes from the green-skinned European vinifera grape. The wine is characterized by citrus flavors - particularly limes and lemons, and also tropical fruit, pineapple, dried peaches, nuts, butterscotch. The texture is often described as buttery. Here are some cheeses we enjoy with Chardonnay:

• Denhay Farm Cheddar: Denhay Cheddar is carefully matured and monitored until it is 11 months old when it is sold as premium West Country Farmhouse Cheddar. (8 oz.)
• Gruyere de Comté Black Label Reserve : One of France's classics. Made in the Alps in gigantic 80-pound wheels. Very versatile. (8 oz.)
• Provolone Piccante: Provolone is a northern Italian cheese that can be thought of as Mozzarella's older brother. Take some Mozzarella, form it into your favorite shape, and rub it down with brine, bind it with rope and hang it from the ceiling for a few months and Voila! - you have just made Provolone. (8 oz.)

Each Assortment comes complete with Trudeau Cheese Serving Set: The cutting surface is made from tempered glass. A wooden drawer is contained under the top of the board with 3 compartments holding a stainless steel fork, spreader, and a long blade knife designed with holes to reduce friction.
