A wonderful story of self discovery5
Body by Night by Zuri Day is an excellent story about a plus size gal, D'Andra Smalls, and her quest to live a healthier life after an emergency room scare. She decides to go to Bally's but of course she starts having second thoughts and is sitting in her car debating whether or not to enter when this tall drink of chocolate comes up to her and convinces her to go on in. Night is a personal trainer who's working on opening up his own gym. He just got out of a bad relationship and is not necessarily looking for a new one when he finds this beautiful, woman in her car waiting to go inside. She's not his usual supermodel looking type, but he decides to help her out on her quest to be healthy and in the process, falls for her.

D'Andra has her issues with men, especially after finding her childhood friend in bed with her boyfriend and having a mother and sister who treat her like Cinderella before she meets her fairy godmother. Although she tries to keep herself from falling for Night, she does anyway. But they still have to deal with his conniving ex, her selfish sister, her emotionally abusive mother and all kinds of stuff.

This is an excellent book! I love that D'Andra's reasons for loosing weight had nothing to do with being a size 2 but with being healthy. That's a much more positive message. And Night was fabulous. He had his own issues to work through and he wasn't looking for romance any more than she was. But romance found them where they least expected it. If you want a good, emotionally satisfying read, pick up Body by Night by Zuri Day.

Romance for the Big, Bold and Beauiful Woman - YEAH!!!!5
Hats off to Ms. Zuri Day for stepping out and creating a unique story line that features a beautiful voluputous fuller-figure heroine that gets her "Midnight" man...I just loved this storyline and though I'm already an empowered woman, I became even more empowered after reading this book...I also want to thank you for creating a character like D'Andra who was so real and relatable to anyone who has ever struggled with their weight....It was great that you discussed real topics that are revelant in today's household (Health Issues, Paternity, Divorce, Adultry, Sibling Jealousy, Parent Favoritism, etc)....You opened the door for dialogue on so many subjects that are just not openly discussed....I also want to say THANK YOU for addressing the issues of becoming HEALTHY and not just losing weight....You allowed D'Andra to have her own voice and you supplied great data that did not consist of fad diets and unrealistic goals....I just loved this book and could not put it down until I completed it....It was great to read about a fuller-figure woman getting some romance and love and it was done oh so tastefully....We need more storylines like this one, so please write some more because I'll be waiting!!!!

Hmmm..... Body by Night?3
Well written fiction about health, nutrition, and exercise with a little romance. D'Andra is a young full figured woman with health issues who sets out to lose weight. Night, a handsome personal physical trainer is helping D'Andra reach that goal.

D'Andra has just ended a relationship with her boyfriend after she catches him in bed with her best friend, which she refers to all men as "walking dirt". Night has also ended his relationship with his girlfriend due to trust issues. So the attraction between the two heats up during D'Andra training sessions.

There are quite a few things going on in this book regarding D'Andra and Night families, which I won't go into. I consider this book an enjoyable read, but I didn't feel the "jump off the page" love connection between D'Andra and Night, so with that said judge for yourself and read the book.
