Protects the Sansa View
The hard-shell travel case is nice and protects the View when traveling. The case fits headphones or a USB cable, but not much else. It's a pretty compact case.
The sleeve is made from a soft leatherette material, and the back of the sleeve is firm to offer better support.
The armband is made from a type of neoprene so it stretches to better fit your arm. Make sure that when you attach the sleeve/case to the arm band, that the Velcro is attached well.
Great Sansa product
This is one of the best investments you can make towards your Sansa, this case just overall out performs anything else available on the market today. It comes with a leather case that goes directly on your Sansa, this case is very soft and has velvet like inside to avoid any scratching. It also has a flap attached to the back that is Velcro on one side to allow you to use the arm band. It stays firmly on your arm and will not jump around while working out. In my opinion the best part of this product is the other case that comes in this package. It has got a hard outer shell that zips up around your Sansa. It has cushioning on the inside in case you drop your Sansa. This is the kind of case that you feel comfortable putting your investment in and then throwing it in the bottom of your back pack and not having to worry about it.
Almost perfect.
This is one of those products that comes so close to perfection, you can't help but see that just a couple of changes would have made it perfect.
What you get is a form-fitting case for the Sansa View. The screen is protected by a clear vinyl sheet that has rolls and warps in it. Not the best thing to view videos through, but fine for looking at menus.
All buttons, switches, slots and controls are fully accessible. And there is a Velcro secured belt clip.
Overall, the basic case is very nice and worth the price of the whole kit.
The belt clip on the case works to secure the View to the included armband. The armband has nicely padded material on the inside and lots of Velcro on the outside to fit arms ranging from small to moderately large. I don't think it would fit bodybuilders with large biceps.
Nice item. Nicely designed and implemented with good materials.
Next is the hard shell case to put the View and armband in. Little net pocket on the back of one of the half shells. And this is where "could have been perfect" comes in.
The net pocket might have been an after-thought. Maybe it is inteded to hold a microSDHC card or two. But the USB charging cable fits nicely.
But when you put in the View and the armband and the cable, things get zipper-popping tight. I wrap the armband around the outside of the case.
Perfection would have been making the case just a quarter or half inch thicker and you'd be able to store the USB charging cable and a pair of earbuds with the View and armband. Now that would be perfection.
As it is, though, the product still merits five-stars.
