Sanuk was started by surfers in southern California in the late '90s who were looking for footwear that reflected their lighthearted way of life. Founder Jeff Kelley was disappointed to see little selection in a category of footwear that had become his main shoe staple: the flip flop. Jeff had always been interested in footwear and with a little help from a few friends Sanuk was born. Years later, the Sanuk brand still delivers out of the ordinary, quality product to surf and specialty shops every season and has helped bring the flip-flop category from a summer only item to something worn all year.

As if you were walking on carpet with just socks on...
I wish all shoes were like this. Unlike other Sanuk's I tried, this was true to size and just plain perfect. I've got wide feet with a high instep so it's tough for me to buy shoes. These, however, seemed to be made just for me.

Style-wise, these are probably more casual. So, they go great with jeans, shorts. They seem to be made with a softer material, and tend to flatten out in the toe area - unlike Sanuk's other models like the Vagabond/Dylan which keep their form better. No big deal, though.

Either way, if you love your feet, treat them with a pair of these!

Best shoes ever
This is my second pair of sanuks, and I couldn't be happier. They are so comfortable and lightweight, whenever I need to go back to wearing regular shoes I feel like I have uncomfortable bricks on my feet. This style sanuk has a better ventilation system, and I think they are a little more 'shoe' looking than my old ones. Get some sanuks and make your feet happy!
