At the heart of this blend is wild champaca, a woody essence with roselike undertones. Champaca flower oil, a sweet, velvety, gardenia-like floral, adds balance. This essence is evocative of the finest frangipani with heavier wood notes. The champaca flower, with it's very unusual floral scent, grows in Nepal, India, Malaysia, and Indonesia. It is a sacred oil to both Buddhists and Hindus. Champaca is also commonly used to scent ceremonial incense and burned in homes and temples. The wood oil is extracted from the Pao Santa tree in Latin America. When we blend these two champaca oils, we are able to re-create the rare smell of the finest Renaissance frangipani, whose musky sweetness is emboldened by wood and floral notes.

Excellent incense fragrance without the smoke
Sacred Champa has a beautiful rich incense-like fragrace candle without the smoke of burning incense. It is very rich and smooth with just a hint of sweet...very soothing. I bought several of these and put them with a display of Chinese furniture and decor.
