Editorial Reviews
From School Library Journal
PreS Two board books designed to encourage conversations between young children and their parents or caregivers. Full-color photographs depict youngsters of different ages and from diverse backgrounds participating in a variety of familiar activities. Happy Birthday consists of different ways of celebrating children's birthdays, ending with the question, "What do you like to do for your birthday?" In Let's Pretend, children engage in creative play, taking on the roles of parents, doctors, cooks, monsters, firemen, and princesses. Each page contains one clear and simple sentence or question that lends itself to discussion. Worthwhile contributions to the growing number of board books available for young children.
