Customer Reviews
Excellent resource for teaching the one thing we all need to know and understand
I am a storyteller who is very interested in empathy education. I bought this book because I was looking for ideas on how to reach children with important messages about how to treat each other. This resource has a depth I have not seen in many other books. It combines practical information, music and ideas for courageous conversations, and rituals/practices to help build community. The included CD has some wonderful songs to share with students. The inclusion of the song "Howard Gray" by Lee Domann is worth the price of the book, yet all of the other material is just as powerful.
A perfect purchase for teachers, guidance counselors, parents or anyone who is passionate about teaching children the most important life skill they will ever learn.
