A wonderful story that talks about how to affirm multiracial kids when confronted with the dreaded "fill in only one box" and "other" on standardized tests and in life when boxed in by either-or types and forms in a both-and world.

My son learned not to judge a book by its cover with this one; a terrific true story of a young Canadian boy of European descent who advocated and fund-raised for clean drinking water and the building of a well in an African town where his penpal lived.

Excellent sex education book for children ages 7 and up. We used the first in the series for our son and now he's ready for the developmentally appropriate messages in this one. Done with accurate information and a cartoon format. Also available in Spanish.

A much better take on the experience of Indigenous residents of Turtle Island and their earliest encounters with Europeans than what most US folks learned in public schools in "his"story classes.
